The rampant copy pasting of the maps which others have mentioned is still tedious, and the shallowness of the Mage AI is still rubbish ("we forgot how to program good mages using the same spell list as the players since DA:O, so we're just going to give all enemy mages illusion 'teleport'") but I'm really getting into the story and am already making plans for a third play through. I hated this when it first came out, but I've been replaying it recently (after clocking 301hrs on my GoG copy of DA:O) and have been really liking it.
